Age 71,Elgin - Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Elgin, OK, with Kris Lamle, Pastor, officiating. Donald went to be with his Lord Friday at his home after a long battle with cancer. Burial will be in the Elgin City Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (Formerly Robbins Funeral Home). ***The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.*** He was born February 5, 1938 in Lyons, Kansas to Tony Seago and Louise Jenkins. He graduated from Elgin High School with the class of 1956. He married June Sanders on June 7, 1957 in the First Baptist Church of Elgin, and their love and devotion led to 52 wonderful years of marriage. Donald was employed by the United States Postal Service in Lawton for 31 years. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Elgin. Don was known as a Godly man with a compassionate and gentle spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family and tinkering in his shop or on cars. He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Kenny Jenkins; and a daughter, Donita Kay Jenkins both of Elgin; a granddaughter, Randi Jenkins of Oklahoma City; and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bentley Seago and a granddaughter, Robyn Jenkins.
