Obituary

A memorial service for Donald Gene Beville will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at his home 2423 SW D Avenue with Leonard Presley, Pastor of the Memorial Indian Baptist Church, presiding.

Donald Gene Beville, Lawton, was born August 23, 1948 in Tishomingo, OK to Leonard and Margaret Shaw Beville.  He succumbed to cancer on Wednesday, April 27, 2016  at the age of 67.

Donald grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School.  He moved to Lawton with his family in 1954 when his father opened Len's Garage.  That small business became Beville Auto Salvage where Donald worked for many years.  He loved racing cars and motorcycles and attended races locally and out of state.  He was also a talented musician, photographer and artist.  He was a history buff and spent several weeks each year in Virginia where he visited civil war battlefields, museums and historical homes - and wineries.  Donald was an avid reader and devoted Elmore Leonard fan.  He loved the Lord and cared deeply about family and friends and never hesitated to provide any assistance needed.

Survivors  include his sons Zachary Donovan and Noah Zane Beville, brothers Billy and Lindel Beville, and a sister, Linda Walls of Manassas, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harold Dean Beville,  a sister, Mary Lee Counts, and a special niece, Sherry Lynn Beville Stoner.

The family would  like to extend special thanks to Promise Care Hospice for their compassionate care.

Memorial contributions may be made to Leah M. Fitch Cancer Center, 104 NW 31st St, Lawton, OK  73505.
