Memorial service for Don Sherry will be at 2:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Lawton with The Rev. Shelley Forrester, Rector officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Don Sherry, 82, Lawton, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his home.  He was born August 11, 1934 in Lawton to Vincent Peter and Laura Annie (McTaggart) Sherry.  He married Joanne Marie Brown on June 1, 1964 at Fort Sill, OK.  Don was a longtime real estate broker and appraiser and was past Chairman of the Comanche County Democratic Party, where he and his wife were very active.  Don was an avid reader and was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife Jody of the home, two children, Amy Sherry Fischer and her husband Tim of Nichols Hills, OK, Patrick Sherry and his wife Sara of Oklahoma City, and two grandchildren, Beckett McTaggart Fischer and McLain August Fischer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
