Celebration of life service for Deshawne "Dennie" Hager will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Rosas, Youth Pastor of Shepherd Us Holy Spirit Church, Lawton, Oklahoma officiating.

On Sunday, July 25, 2021, Deshawne Dominique Hager, loving son, nephew, and brother passed away at the young age of 29. Deshawne was born May 28, 1992 in Berlin, Germany to Ivonne Hager and Terrance Davis. He graduated from MacArthur High School in 2011 and studied for a time at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Deshawne had a passion for dancing, especially salsa, bachata, and merengue. He loved reading books about spirituality and different religions. Deshawne was very much into physical fitness, as he would say my body is my temple. He was admired for his compassion and empathetic ways and there isn't a heart he has not touched in some sort of way. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and kind and compassionate spirit.

Deshawne is survived by his five siblings, brother, DaQuan Cross of Temple, Texas, four sisters, Caprie Hager of Oklahoma City, Dominique Hager of Edmond, Oklahoma, Sonya Martin of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dreamiana Martin of Lawton, Oklahoma, mother, Ivonne Hager of Lawton, Oklahoma, father, Terrance Davis of Montgomery, Alabama, paternal grandmother, Bonnie Davis of Montgomery, Alabama and uncle, Manuel Hager of Oklahoma City and cousin and nephew.

Deshawne was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
