Funeral for former Lawton resident, Denzil Johnson, 81, Clinton will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the University Church of Christ with Weldon Flanagan, retired minister officiating. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Walters Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born December 20, 1930 in Walters to John and Angilee (Akin) Reed. She married Coleman R. Johnson on September 4, 1954 in Walters. He died October 28, 2007. Mrs. Johnson devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren and was also a devoted caregiver to her parents. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the University Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Jimmy Clarke, Pasadena, Texas and Debra and Duane Dick, Clinton, four grandsons, Brett Mahan, Greg Mahan Matt Mahan and Justin Dick, six great grandchildren, brother, Bruce Reed and his wife Shirley, Murphy, Texas, aunt, Hazel Barber, Blair, and numerous nieces and nephews.
