Funeral service for Dennis Penick, 58, Dickinson, TX will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ordean Nelson, Paradise Valley Baptist Church, North of Lawton, officiating. Dennis passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Dickinson, TX. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. *The family will greet friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5pm until 7pm* Dennis was born October 31, 1956 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Carlton E. and Willene Mattie (Ferrell) Penick. He served in the US Navy from 1973 until 1976. He served as a fireman aboard the USS Dixie and earned the National Defense Service Medal. He loved spending time with his daughter, riding motorcycles and playing golf. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Alex Natalie Irene Penick, his father Carlton E. Penick, his sisters, Dellene Scott and brother-in-law Chester Scott, Bobbie Spencer, Robin Harris and brother-in-law James Harris, aunts and uncles, JoAnn Ferrell, Bobby and Jesse May Penick, Marietta Penick, Dorthy Reynolds, his nieces and nephews, Randy Richards, Rhonda Patterson, Renae Price, Rodney Richards, Danny Spencer, Kendra Schoolfield, many great nephews and nieces, cousins, Brett Penick, Mark Penick, Glenda Loose, Rhonda Combs, Beverly Sinor, Patricia Gee, and several other beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, maternal and paternal grandparents, his uncles, Earl and Billy Penick, his aunts, Ruby McClung, Geraldine Skaggs and several cousins.
