Funeral service for Deloris Arnett, 75, Indiahoma, will be held 10:00 am Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Indiahoma United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Perkin, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Arnett died Thursday, March 6 in a local hospital. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 9 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home. She was born February 28, 1939 in Elgin, Oklahoma to Thomas and Annis (Overstreet) Jackson. She was employed as the Activities Director at the Lawton Heights Nursing Center for over 25 years. She married Thomas Arnett on August 9, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Deloris had a very close relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always concerned with the health of others more than her own. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Thomas Arnett of the home; eight children, Linda Staton, Laurie Davis, Kimmi Jones, Louie Colvin, Jr., Deanna Broberg, Robert Arnett, Tommy Arnett and Linda Harper; three grandsons, Brian Paul Jones, James Jones and Brian Spencer; and six great grandchildren Her parents; two sisters, Belle Jackson and Patricia Vana; and two brothers, Elijah Jackson and Floyd Jackson and a step-daugher, Dorothy Riggs preceded her in death.
