Funeral service for Delores G. Chinnow, 74, Lawton, will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider officiating. Mrs. Chinnow died Thursday, April 18, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Burial will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery. Delores was born August 13, 1938 in Hadley, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Alta Wiley. She grew up in Hadley and was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School. She came to Lawton from Greenville, Pennsylvania, and worked several different jobs before moving to Irving, Texas, where she owned and operated Burger Hut Restaurant. After several years in Irving she moved back to Lawton and opened A Touch of Grace beauty salon. She married SSG (Retired) Jerry D. Chinnow on July 2, 2004 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2012. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds but her main interest was always her family who will best remember her for always being there for them and placing them above anything else. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Jim and Debbie Jordan, Grand Prairie, Texas; a daughter, Ava Lowe and her fiancé, Scot Swordy, Crestone, Colorado; two grandsons, Billy Jordan, Grand Prairie, Texas, and Ben Jordan USAF and his wife Elise, Shreveport, Louisiana; a sister, Faith Crowe, Lawton; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Monday, April 22, at the funeral home.
