Age 49, Lawton - Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. David McCracken, pastor of New Life Assembly of God in Cache officiating. Mrs. Griggs died Sunday in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born January 21, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas to John L. and Vivian Faye (Hardzog) Williams. She moved to Lawton at the age of 5 and graduated from Lawton High School in 1979. She married Herbie L. Griggs on April 27, 1990 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Debra was a compassionate and caring person. She loved her family and loved to read. Survivors include her husband, of the home, three children, John Williams, Kellie Bost and Daniel Bost and a second daughter, Amy Jean Kelly, all of Lawton, five grandchildren, Knowledge Bost, John Williams, Jr., Andrea Lynn Williams, Sintel Simpson and Joannah Kay Williams, all of Lawton, two sisters-in-law, Joan Doake, Walters and Pam Bishop, Eagle River, Alaska, aunt and uncle, Hazel and Bryan Nunn, Lawton, two brothers-in-law, Gary Griggs and Eddie Griggs, both of Elgin, special friends, Harold and Nancy Baumeister, Lawton and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and paternal grandparents, Homer and Ruby Williams.
