Word has been received on the death of Debbie (Walls) Wemmer, 56, Snyder. Debbie passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Snyder, peacefully surrounded by her family and friends. She fought a heroic battle with cancer that was discovered November 10, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder. She was born November 3, 1956 in Sentinel, Oklahoma. She graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1977. She married Jeffery Wemmer in Sacramento, California. Debbie will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include a daughter Amanda Wemmer of Louisiana, twin children, son Tommy Jon Wemmer of Tulsa, OK, and Leah Ballard and husband Quinton of Snyder, OK, grandchildren Telia Phillips, Devon Wemmer and Trenton and Preston Ballard, all of Snyder, OK. She is also survived by her mother Patricia Andrews of the home, a sister Susie Pipho of Snyder, OK, a sister Tami Hamaker and Ava Wright of Snyder, OK, a step -brother Jeff Andrews, currently serving in the US Army in Europe, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Janie Carol Sullivan, grandparents Fred and Addie Lou Walls, and her step-father Joe Rush Andrews. Due to there being no memorial services, the family asks that any donations be made to cancer research.
