Funeral service for Debbie Chairess will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Delbert Beard, Lawton, Oklahoma officiating.

Private family interment will be held in the Roosevelt Cemetery, Roosevelt, Oklahoma.

Debbie Chairess, 63, of Snyder, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at her home.  She was born April 22, 1959 in Hobart, Oklahoma.  She married Michael Chairess on March 26, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She had recently retired from Southwest Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Manitou, Oklahoma.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband Michael Chairess of the home, her son JR McKelvy and wife Michelle of Marietta, Oklahoma, daughter Amanda Treadwell and husband Jered of Lebanon, Oklahoma, step-son Michael Chairess, Jr. and wife Annette, her cousin and best friend, Leslie Rankin, 4 grandchildren, Sierra and Tyler McKelvy of Marietta, Oklahoma, and Koby and Kylin Treadwell of Lebanon, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by brother and sisters, Chuck Benson of Snyder, Oklahoma Susan Denny of Altus, Oklahoma and Janie Barnes of Altus, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her mother Katherine Swyden, her father Abe Swyden and her brother Jerry Benson.
