A gathering for the family and friends of Dean Roger Watson, 62, will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Parish Hall from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Dean Roger Watson was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on June 10, 1962, to Hubert Wayne "Hoot" Watson and Donna P. (Cardona) Watson. He passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Lawton.

Dean graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, in 1980. Following high school, he pursued his passion for mechanics by attending Okmulgee Tech, where he excelled, graduating with honors as an auto body technician. His talent for working with his hands later led him into a successful career in construction and remodeling, a field that suited him perfectly, as he had a knack for fixing just about anything.

Dean had a deep love for animals, cherishing all kinds, but none more so than his beloved cat, Patch, who held a special place in his heart. His caring nature and diverse talents will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Dean was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother; his sister, Rene Mitchell, and her husband, Mike; and his brother, Doug.
