Word has been received on the death of Dean Glen Walters, 53 of Lawton. No services are scheduled at this time.

Dean passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Oklahoma City.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Dean was born June 23, 1962 in Frankfurt, Germany to Neal David and Lotte E. (Taplick) Walters. He was the third of four sons. He graduated from Macarthur High School in 1981. Dean spent time in Texas where he was employed as a diesel locomotive mechanic and also in Virginia before settling in Lawton. Dean had a keen mechanical mind and could best be described as a jack of all trades. He was skilled in auto and truck repair, construction, maintenance, janitorial, painting, lawn service and on and on. If it needed to be fixed or cleaned Dean was your man. Dean was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed attending races when possible. He also liked to spend time fishing and camping. We will all miss his good heart and big laugh.

He is survived by his brothers, Harry D. Walters and wife Rose of Omaha, NE, Neal Walters and wife Linda of Virginia Beach, VA and David L. Walters and wife Carol of Lawton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
