Funeral service for Daymon E. Bay will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Paradise Valley Baptist Church with Donny Crittendon officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Daymon E. Bay, 81, Lawton, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his residence.  He was born September 23, 1938 north of Lawton to Charles Eugene and Christine Irene Bay.  He was a 1956 graduate of Elgin High School.  He married Geraldine Greenlee on August 7, 1959 at the First United Methodist Church in Lawton.

He worked on his family's farm and dairy.  He worked for Freeman Construction Company at the time of his marriage and later, on a portion of the family farm deeded to him, operated his own dairy for many years.

He was a member of Paradise Valley Baptist Church.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sports and activities and also enjoyed OU Football.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; his children Cheryl Smith and husband Randy, Lawton, Oklahoma and Dr. Michael Bay and wife Sherry, Ada, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Ty Smith, Kelsee Smith and Kyrah Bay; his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Pat Bay, Lawton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Curtis Plumbtree, Lawton, and Thelma and Gene Ganus, Lakeland, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.
