Memorial service for David Leroy Beck, 62, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 1, 2026, in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jim Coe officiating.
The service may be viewed online at www.beckerfuneral.com or through the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Facebook page.
David L. Beck was born on October 12, 1963, to George J. Beck Jr. and Elvira A. (Jahn) Beck in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and passed away May 21, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
David spent most of his life in Lawton, Oklahoma, though his journey often took him to Germany as part of life in an Army family. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1981 and began his career as a machinist. Over the years, David worked in construction and the oilfield before ultimately finding his calling as a welder and fabricator with T&G Construction, where he specialized in repairing heavy equipment. While his knowledge of metallurgy and fabrication was impressive, his true expertise was in livestock control and containment.
David had a deep love for playing guitar, songwriting, and listening to Red Dirt country music. His dogs were more than pets - they were loyal companions both at home and on the job, often working alongside him to help herd and contain cattle.
David is survived by his brothers, Tommy Beck and his wife, Tina, and Dean Beck; nephew, Nigel Beck, and wife, Ashley; nieces, Nicole, Brittney, and Manda Beck; and best friend Jake.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Elvira and George Beck; and brothers, Larry William and Michael Anthony Beck.
