Dana Jean Delluomo, who fought a courageous, lengthy battle with cancer, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at her mother's home in east Lawton. Dana was born July 31, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to Dan and Deloris Delluomo. The family returned to Oklahoma in 1963 and Dana graduated from MacArthur High School in 1977. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from Oklahoma City University. Dana worked as an interior designer in Oklahoma and, for a brief period, in Phoenix. She was an avid reader who preferred Russian and French literature. Dana had a heart for both children and animals, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate "CASA" representative for children in foster care. She was always there to help those less fortunate. Those who knew her enjoyed her gentle nature and great sense of humor. Her nieces and nephews were a very special part of her life. She is survived by her mother, Deloris Delluomo, of the home; her sister, Jamie Delluomo, of Lawton; her brothers, Monty Delluomo, of Oklahoma City and Paul Delluomo and his wife Sissy of Tulsa; her niece and nephews, Daniel Delluomo, of Riverside, California, Loren Delluomo and Angelo Ryan Delluomo, of Phoenix and Christopher and Nicholas Delluomo, of Oklahoma City and Dane and Matthew Wofford, of Tulsa; many loving friends and extended family.
