Graveside service for CW5 (Retired) Stewart L. Ellis, Jr., 68, Lawton will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill with George Kilmitz officiating. CW5 Ellis died December 15, 2014 in Lawton. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, OK. He was born July 25, 1946 in Swartz Creek, Michigan to Stewart L. and Veda Heldibraught Ellis. He retired from the US Army in 2000 after 35 years of service. While serving he earned the Meritorious Service Medal-3, Army Commendation Medal-3, National Defense Service Medal-2, Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He married Kay F. Walker in 2001 in Lawton. He is survived by his wife Kay of the home, Children Jenny Ellis, Christopher Schoenfeld, Bill McAnnelly, granddaughter Kelsey Ellis, his sister Janice and husband Bill Seguin. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Robby Ellis, and a sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Don Rupp.
