A Celebration of Life for CW4 Christopher L. Savidge, 40, Elgin, Oklahoma, will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Lawton Country Club.

Christopher, called Chris by all but his wife who commonly called him Topher, was born on May 23, 1980 in Enid, Oklahoma to Dana and Teresa Savidge.  He joined the US Army on January 5, 2000 after learning college wasn't the right fit.  He served his country among other heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan, having deployed three times.  During his military career he completed his Bachelors as well as his Masters in Business Administration.   While he valued his contribution to his country and was emphatic about furthering his education for the sake of education, he also loved his family.  He enjoyed good bourbon, quality cigars, music, fires, good food, and good times.  He perfected the art of smoking brisket, pork butt, and ribs.  He also loved his wife's cooking and baking.

He is survived by his wife Alanna, his son Christian, step-daughter Maegan, his mother Teresa, father Dana, his sister Jennifer and her children Darius, Jabari and Trinity.  He is also survived by his grandmother Sally and numerous other extended family members.
