Age 69, Lawton - Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Tuesday in the Highland Cemetery, Lawton with Rev. Tom Willoughby officiating. She died Friday at her home. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. *** The family will greet friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm. *** She was born September 25, 1940 in Lawton to Lee and Jewell Elva (Floyd) Kemp. She was in the consumer finance business for twenty-five years, and was past owner of Frederick Loan Company. She worked for A & A Finance in the 1980's and for Lawton Loan and Investment until her illness caused her to retire in 2008. She loved the piano and could play by ear, and enjoyed her beloved cats, He-She, Wally, Pepper and Boo Boo. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lawton where she loved Sunday school and her church friends. She enjoyed working in the yard along with various other hobbies. She is survived by her mother, Jewell Elva (Kemp) Porter of Lawton, two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Pam Traughber of Lawton, Rick and Elizabeth Traughber of San Diego, CA, sister and brother-in-law, Dennis and Sherry Bly of Lawton, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Sandie Kemp of Lawton, Ted and Terri Kemp of Belton, TX, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, close family members and friends.
