Graveside service with full military honors for CMSgt (Retired) Ronald Wayne Scruggs will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

CMSgt (Retired) Ronald Wayne Scruggs, age 82, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026 in Wichita Falls. He was born May 30, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Howard and Alma Arlene (Smith) Scruggs. He married Karen S. Walker on April 28, 1967 in Wichita Falls.  He retired from the U.S. Air Force after thirty years of service as a Chief Master Sergeant.  He then retired from the Unites States Postal Service.

Survivors include his wife, Karen S. Scruggs, of the home, daughter, Sherry Sue Nahquaddy, two grandchildren, Jordan DeWayne Nahquaddy and Walker Reid Nahquaddy, all of Wichita Falls, sister, Debbie Nauman and her husband, Paul, Lawton, two sisters-in-law, Jimmie Scruggs, Tulsa and Teresa Scruggs-Dyer, Grand Lake, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Lynn Scruggs and David Allen Scruggs, two children, Kimberly Suzanne Scruggs and Robert DeWayne Scruggs and son-in-law, Eddie Nahquaddy.
