Funeral service for Clinton Durwood "C.D." Turner, 87, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014, in the Beal Heights Presbyterian Church with Rev. Brian Belh, Pastor, officiating. C.D. died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at his residence. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. *The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.* C.D. was born August 29, 1927 in Crafton, Texas to Clint Amon and Annie Ellen (Thorn) Turner. He married Betty Lawrence on August 13, 1947 in Lawton. He is survived by his wife, of the home; three children and their spouses, James and Vicki Turner, Lawton, Anna and Ron Fisher, Lawton, and Alisa and Ronny Hall, Tulsa; nine grandchildren, Nikki and husband Dustin Snow, Kris and husband Jason Burd, Shalisa and husband Brion Hitt, Kelly and husband Rob Forster, Kim Fisher, Robert Fisher, Hunter Hall, Lyndsey and husband Patrick McAlister and Jessica Major; twenty-one great grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Powell and Ina Turner; three brothers and their spouses, Billy and Beth Turner, Clint and Sue Turner and Nolan and Rena Turner; and two sisters in law and their spouses, Frances and Raymond Banks and Edith and Louis Caha. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Amy Jo Turner and two brothers.
