Clifford E. Wolfe, age 87, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born January 15, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, to Christian J. "Chris" and Nettie M. (Pritchard) Wolfe.

Clifford retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as Plant Quality Manager, living in Lawton since 1978.  He married Joan J. (Haywood) Wolfe on June 1, 1957, and they spent 62 wonderful years together before Joan's passing on May 12, 2019.  Family, friends, and golf were Clifford's passion and delight.  After moving from Akron, Joan and Clifford were avid square dancers and loved the time they spent with the Lawton Silhouettes.  They spent much of their retirement years traveling in and outside the country and often visiting family and friends.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He treasured his son and daughter-in-law and embraced every moment he was able to share with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We are eternally blessed and thankful for each day he was in our lives. Clifford can rest easy now knowing that he did his job. The joy he brought us, the lessons he taught us and the love he shared will be carried forward through the legacy of the family he created.

Clifford is survived by his son, Scott Wolfe and wife, Donna, brother, Ralph Wolfe of Athens, Georgia, four grandchildren, Elizabeth Moore, Kelsey Wolfe and husband Cory, Zachary Wolfe and wife Kelsey, Kimberly Norton and husband Michael, he was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaleb, Hayden, Wade, Ruby, and Hazel.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Dow Wolfe, William Wolfe and Charles Wolfe, and his sister Beverly Dodson, all of Akron, Ohio.
