Age 82, Lawton - Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mr. Bott died Friday in Lawton. Burial will be in Flower Mound Cemetery. He was born November 21, 1925 in Lawton to Leo and Edith (Nickell) Bott. He played varsity football for Lawton High, and they won the State Championship in 1943. He married Mary Margaret Munson on January 20, 1945 in Lawton. He was a United States Postal Service letter carrier until his retirement in 1970. He also raised wheat, cattle and catfish on his farm Southeast of Lawton until 2005. He is survived by his wife of the home; a sister, Margaret Yoder of Lawton; a daughter and son-in-law, Claren and Carl Denning of Oklahoma City; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Darenda Bott of Talala, Oklahoma and David and Vicki Bott of Oklahoma City; 9 grandchildren, Christopher, Denise, Janelle, Kimberly, Stephanie, Tracy, Jeffery, Curt and Don; 15 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
