Graveside service for Clara Thompson DeYoung will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Clara Thompson DeYoung, 79, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in Lawton. She was born August 28, 1942, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Lem Lee and Estelle Inez (Stone) Thompson. She married John E. DeYoung on June 27, 1989. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2002.

She was a caregiver to many and retired as a bank manager. She had a love for all animals.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews and longtime friends Mary Bailey, Shirley Catlin and Don Tharp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. DeYoung; her parents; three brothers, Harold Thompson, Gerald Thompson, and Glen Thompson and two sisters, Velma T. LaGarde and Janice T. Guillot.
