Chuck Klein died May 5, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 62, with his family by his side. He was born November 22, 1963, in Lawton to Vernon and Patricia Gene (Kerrick) Klein. He grew up in Lawton and was a 1982 graduate of Eisenhower High School. Following graduation, Chuck pursued higher education at the University of Oklahoma, Northeastern Oklahoma State University, and Baylor University, ultimately earning his bachelor's degree from Cameron University.

Chuck married Kristi Nichols, and together they had three sons. He later married Stacy Ann Johnson on August 11, 2002, in Fresno, California. Chuck quickly embraced Spencer Nicole as his own, and he and Stacy later welcomed two children together. He and Stacy shared a love of travel, enjoying both domestic and international destinations.

He grew up attending First Baptist Church and remained deeply community-minded throughout his life. He was a member of Great Plains AMBUCS and served on the Lawton Airport Authority. Chuck enjoyed golf and basketball and especially cherished coaching his children's sports teams. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family.
