Christopher Henry Rogers Graveside service for former Lawton resident, Chris Rogers, 62, Wichita Falls, Texas will be at 2:30 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Chris passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the Monterrey Care Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. He had lived in Wichita Falls since his father, Felix Rogers, passed away on January 1, 2000. Chris was born on October 1, 1951 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Doris and Felix Rogers. He grew up in Lawton and attended classes for the mentally handicapped. He also attended the First Baptist Church in Lawton. He was always a happy guy and brought much joy to his family and friends. After his mother died in 1988, Felix Rogers' sister, Wauneta Delona Wade, from Wichita Falls provided much of his loving care until his death. Chris is survived by his brothers, Bruce Rogers and J Robert Howard; his Aunt Delona; sister-in-law, Lois Howard; and nephews, Jeff and Nathan Howard, and a niece, Emily Howard.
