Funeral service for Christopher R. Phelps will be at 2:00 pm Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with his uncle Gordon Johnson of Perry, OK officiating.

Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche, OK.

Christopher R. Phelps, 48, Lawton passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 in a Lawton hospital.  He was born March 11, 1969 in Lawton to Tommy L. and Charlene (Johnson) Phelps.  Christopher attended Lawton schools and was injured in an accident in 1985 that left him permanently disabled.  He graduated from McArthur High School.  Christopher was a Christian who loved the Lord.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother Charlene Phelps, brother Tommy Phelps, nephew Aaron Phelps, niece Leslie Phelps, uncles; Allen Johnson, Gordon Johnson, Harold Johnson, Terry Phelps, Johnny Phelps, Lonnie Phelps and his aunt Verna Johns.

He is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents; Charles and Virginia Johnson, paternal grandparents; Woody and Ruth Phelps and many family and friends.
