Age 91, Mechanicsville, Maryland - Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Boecher died May 2, 2009 at St. Mary's Nursing Center in Leonardtown, Maryland. Inurnment will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. Born on March 4, 1918 in Ranstadt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Christiane Heun Boecher. Ms. Boecher has resided in this area since 1994. She immigrated from Germany in 1961 and obtained her US citizenship in OK in 1982 where she formerly lived in Lawton. She was a Seamstress and enjoyed knitting and gardening. Survived by her son, Hans and his wife, Heidi Boecher of Mechanicsville, MD, step-daughter, Emmi and her husband Willi Wolf of Germany, 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Annemarie Roberts and grandchildren Danny Roberts and Hans Peter and Kristen Boecher.
