Funeral service for Chong I. Yi, 84, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Kijoon Yun, Pastor, Lawton Korean Community Church of the Nazarene officiating. Mrs. Yi died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Lawton. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Mrs. Yi was born December 12, 1928 in Chung Joo, South Korea. She married Sim Ku Yi on October 12, 1944 in Chonbook, South Korea. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2004. Mrs. Yi grew up in Korea and came to the United States in 1980. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Lawton Korean Community Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by a son Min Yi; three daughters, Yong C. Bedford, Angel L. Park and Gina Kim; a brother, Jong Ahn; seven grandsons, Hyo Yi, Andy Yi, James Yi, Robert Bedford, Daniel Pennel, David Park and Matthew Kim; two granddaughters, Jinhee Park and Lydia Kim; four great grandchildren, Danny, Alexander, David and Sophia. Her parents and a son, Hak Yi, preceded her in death.
