Funeral service for Cheyenne Layne Pepper will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Arena Cowboy Church, north of Lawton, Oklahoma with Pastor David McGhghy officiating

Burial will follow in Faxon Cemetery, Faxon, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Cheyenne Layne Pepper, infant daughter of Shelby and Casamarae (Currey) Pepper passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home in Fletcher, Oklahoma at the age of 1. She was born April 11, 2024 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Cheyenne was a joyful child with a contagious laugh that often made everyone around her smile. She loved attending church, where she would clap along with her grandmother and dance to the music at the Arena Cowboy Church. Cheyenne adored her cows and ducks, and her room was lovingly decorated with Highland cows. She had a playful, ornery spirit and was always getting into things, especially her grandmother's dish towels and pots and pans. She enjoyed playing with her kitchen set, taking selfies, and admiring herself in the mirror. Bath time with her mother was one of her favorite routines, and she recently had her first haircut, which she handled beautifully.

Cheyenne is survived by her parents, two brothers, Zackery and Colton Creacy of Fletcher, Oklahoma, maternal grandmother, Sharon Currey of Cache, Oklahoma, paternal grandparents, Robert Lowe and wife Melissa of Apache, Oklahoma and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harland Currey, paternal grandfather, Randy Pepper, and her maternal and paternal great grandparents.
