Funeral service for Chau Le Weed will be 9:30 A.M. Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Joseph Douthitt officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

On the morning of August 26, 2016, Chau died peacefully after a short battle with cancer.  She was visited and comforted by family at OU Medical Center at the time of her passing.  Chau was 77 years old.  She cared very deeply about her family and worried about them constantly, even with her last breath.  When she wasn't tending to the needs of her family, she would spend hours working her garden and taking care of her cats. She was quick with a smile and steadfast in her ways.

Chau Le Weed was born in Vietnam in 1939.  She was the fourth child and second daughter of a family of five.

Chau was preceded in death by her parents Le-Ngu and Vo-thi-Tom.

Chau is survived by her brothers; Phuc and Nhon, her sisters; Ca and Nam; her husband, John, her two sons and her two grandchildren.
