Memorial service for Charlie C. Moore will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Charlie C. Moore, age 88, of Lawton passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in Mustang. She was born December 10, 1926 in Waco, Texas to Charles Parker and Ruby (Myrick) Crawford. She graduated from La Vega High School in Bellmead, Texas in 1944. She married Harrell E. Moore on August 10, 1945 in Waco, Texas. They moved to Lawton in 1966 where they owned and operated the Western Auto at 11th and A Ave. They later owned and operated School House Slough Marina at Lake Lawtonka for twenty-five years. Mrs. Moore was a longtime volunteer at the Oklahoma Blood Institute and was a member of the Lawton Arts and Humanities Council. Survivors include her son Charles Moore and his wife Brenda, Edmond, two granddaugthters, Amanda Wood and her husband Ryan, Elgin and Jessy Moore, Edmond and a great granddaughter, Zoey Wood, Elgin. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Tom Moore and sister, Noma Porterfield.
