Memorial service for Charles R. Stahl will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Tompkins officiating.

Charles R. Stahl, age 74, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Lawton.  He was born March 21, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, to George and Irene Stahl.  He grew up in San Antonio and entered the U.S. Army at the age of seventeen.  He served in the army for six years and was a Vietnam veteran.  He married Beverly A. Constant on June 28, 1968 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Charles worked for Western Motor Freight until his retirement in 1997.  He lived in Fletcher for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fletcher.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters, Cherie Stahl and Christy Stahl Storck, both of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Cameron and Preston Storck; his brother and sister-in-law, A.J. and Pat Clinton, Springtown, Texas; and numerous other relatives.

His parents and a brother, Sonny Stahl, preceded him in death.
