Graveside funeral service for Charles Edward Sanmann will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Fort Sill National Cemetery.with military honors.

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Charles Edward Sanmann died Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 94. He was born March 10, 1929 in Geronimo, Oklahoma to Charles E. and Janie R. (Fields) Sanmann.  He grew up in Geronimo where he attended school.  He worked as a farm hand and later as a small engine mechanic.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War.

He is survived by a son, Charles, as well as several nieces and nephews.

His parents, four sisters, Ruth West, Dorothy Ellen Cox, Vera Mae Nichols and Edith Kelley, and a brother, Wayne Sanmann, preceded him in death.
