Graveside service for Celestina "Sally" Tarango, 70, Snyder will be at 1:00 pm Friday, June 13, 2014 in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder with James Tobar, Lubbock, Texas officiating. Sally went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. * The family will greet friends Thursday evening, June 12, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. * She was born April 6, 1944 in Georgetown, Texas to Felipe and Mary Lee (Vargas) Morales. Sally worked for Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder for over twenty years, where she was a CNA, Housekeeping Supervisor, Medicine Nurse and the Activities Director Aide. She truly loved her job helping others. Over her 70 years, she made many friends, but her enjoyment in life was time spent with her family. She was well known for her cooking, and to many in Snyder she was known as "the lady that could make the rice". She enjoyed playing cards, Mexican Bingo and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Snyder. Survivors include her children; Ernest and wife Shellene Morales of Temple, TX, Maria and husband Raymond Del Gado of Lubbock, TX, JoAnn and husband Michael Phillips of Snyder, OK, Marry Anne Tarango of Snyder, OK, Michael Tarango of Snyder, OK, her siblings; David and wife Michelle Morales of Indiana, Albert and wife Lydia Morales of Crosbyton, TX, Daniel and wife Rosa Morales of Chillicothe, TX, Ruben Martinez of Lubbock, TX, Manuel, Jr., and wife Paulita Martinez of Lubbock, TX, Becky and husband Tony Green also of Snyder, OK. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren 3 Godchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
