Funeral service for Cedric Lamar Blakely will be at 12:30 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hubbard, Associate Pastor of Lawton First Assembly officiating.

Burial with military honors will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Cedric Lamar Blakely, 47, Lawton, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Lawton.  He was born October 27, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas to George Duncan and Jerry Blakely.  He grew up in Crossett, Arkansas and graduated high school in 1989.  He served three years in the United States Army as a Medic, which he was very proud of.  After serving in the Army he graduated from Great Plains Technology Center as an LPN.  He worked in Lawton as an LPN for 10 years.  He married LaShawn Lanham on February 27, 2004 in Lawton.

Survivors include his wife LaShawn of the home, sister Casandra (Kourtney) Sanks of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, brother Elias Duncan of Bastrop, Louisiana, mother-in-law Dorothy Lanham of North Augusta, South Carolina, father-in-law Carsevelt Lanham  of North Augusta, South Carolina, two brothers-in-law, Donald (Susan) Lanham of North Augusta, South Carolina, Carsevelt (Johnetta) Lanham, Jr., of Cambridge, Maryland, sister-in-law Dolores Baker of Lawton, OK and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Helen Blakely and his sister-in-law Lenora Mathis.
