Funeral service for Cecilia M. Gresham will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wayne Morris, Pastor, First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder.

Cecilia M. Gresham, age 85, Lawton, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She was born December 28, 1932 in Monterrey, Mexico to Daniel and Augustina Mata.  Cecilia married Glenn M. Gresham on June 3, 1956 in Monterrey, Mexico.  He preceded her in death on December 3, 1984.

Cecilia grew up in Monterrey and graduated high school there.  She later attended Cameron University.  She moved to Lawton following her marriage and became a U.S. Citizen in 1957.  She was primarily a homemaker but had also worked as a cook for Wilson Elementary School and as a child care giver for Central Baptist Church.  She had served as a volunteer at Comanche County Memorial Hospital since 1985.

She was a member of the International Bible Study and attended the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church.

Survivors include three children, Ninfa Brandt and her former spouse, John Brandt, Linda Elnashar and husband Khodor and Terry M. Gresham and his wife Teri McGrath; seven grandchildren, Nawal, Fatimah, Bakr, Ayah, Maryam, Sean and Stephen; one great grandson, Belal; her brother, Juan Mata; and her sister, Concha Santa Cruz.

Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
