Graveside service for former Lawton resident, Carrie Naomi Moore, 86, Oklahoma City will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Moore died Saturday in Oklahoma City. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born September 6, 1921 in Coulwood, Virginia to William D. and Valerie L. (Harding) Kendrick. She married Nolan Ivan Moore on July 6, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky. He died August 4, 2001. Mrs. Moore was a Baptist. She is survived by five children and their spouses, D. Nolan Moore, Lewisville, Texas, Lindy and Howard Waller, Webbers Falls, John M. and Karen Moore, Oklahoma City, David D. and Dawn Moore, Clinton, South Carolina and Valerie and Eddie Harrell, Norman, three sisters, Mae Lawler, and Ada Bryan both of Louisville, Kentucky and Virginia Pratt, Georgia, two brothers and their spouses, John and Phyllis Kendrick, Ohio and Alfred and Julie Kendrick, Pikeville, Kentucky, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; William, Joseph, Franklin and Earl and five sisters; Katherine, Carol, Elizabeth, Mary and Gladys.
