Carol Jean Rosa, wife, mother, grandmother passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2023 at Cedar   Crest Manor Nursing Home. She was 82.
She was the only child born to Ellery Lee Dowell and Juanita Rogers on April 14, 1941 in Lawton, OK.
Growing up in Lawton, she attended Lawton High School. She was married to Louis G. Rosa Jr. in 1964 until his passing in 2022.

She was dedicated to her life as a military wife. She served with the NCO Wives Club and worked as a manager at the Non-Commissioned Officers Club for several years. She and Louis started a food ministry with their church dedicated to feeding the homeless for several years.

She enjoyed crafts, home decorating, and collectibles. She was exceptionally skilled at organization and could figure out ways to make anything fit. She was always prepared and always seemed to have the right thing needed for the moment. She had a great sense of humor. She loved to make jokes and laugh. She was very fond of music, particularly Hawaiian and worship music.  She loved shopping and buying gifts for her loved ones. Her family was most important to her.

She is survived by daughter Sweetheart Huffine, granddaughters Ariel, Hannah and Katelyn Huffine, son Ellery David Windham, granddaughter and grandson Jennifer and Jeffrey Thurman and her cat Princess.
