Graveside service for Carol Sue Bridwell, 60, Yukon, formerly of Lawton, will be 2:00 pm Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. William F. Watkins, Interim Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Bridwell died Tuesday at in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born August 13, 1950 in Lawton to Joseph Andrew and Jessie Pearl (Cantwell) Daniels. She graduated from Lawton High School, completed cosmetology school, and also received training as a Certified Medical Assistant. She worked as a Rental Property Manager from 1996 to 2006. She married Robert Bridwell on December 20, 2005 in Lawton. Mrs. Bridwell was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lawton. She is survived by her husband of the home; a son, Clayton Strickland of Oklahoma City; a daughter and son in law, Teri and David Boron of Monroe, Michigan; two grandsons, Julian and Damian of Monroe, Michigan; a sister and brother in law, Betty and Billy Caldwell of Lawton; a nephew, Jeff Caldwell of Oklahoma City; a niece, Becky of Fletcher; a stepson and his wife, James and Alicia Bridwell of Goldsboro, North Carolina; a step grandson, Boston Bridwell of Goldsboro, North Carolina; favorite aunt, Carol and her husband Joe Stoy of Valparaiso, Florida; former husband, John Strickland of Avondale, Arizona; several cousins; and numerous friends. Her parents preceded her in death.
