Funeral service for Carl A. Gatliff will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Carl A. Gatliff, age 81, died Sunday, March 31, 2024 at his residence in Lawton, Oklahoma. Carl was born October 30, 1942 in Medicine Park, Oklahoma to Richard William Gatliff, Sr. and Virginia Gatliff. He grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton schools. He married Wanna Rowin on March 10, 1967 in Lawton. She preceded him in death on December 17, 2022.

Carl worked for the Lawton Public Schools as a custodian for many years. In 1987 he opened Carl's Military Surplus and remained there until his death.

He is survived by his two children and their spouses, Steve Gatliff and wife Lorre and Susan Lee and husband Kevin; three grandchildren, Cody Chasteen, Shane Karbowski and wife Shelby and Megan Lee; and one great grandchild, Kylie Karbowski.

His parents, six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
