Funeral for Carl Samuel Ewing, 64, Sterling will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher Chapel with Deacon Tom Biles, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Elgin officiating. Mr. Ewing died Monday, September 5, 2011 in Lawton. Burial will be in the Sterling Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Fletcher. He was born November 9, 1946 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Mr. Ewing retired from Civil Service at Fort Sill after thirty years of service. He had also worked at the Lawton Speedway. Mr. Ewing was an avid sportsman, photographer, historical reenactor and race car fan. Survivors include his mother, Catherine Ewing, of the home, two sisters, Diana Ewing Emmert, of the home and Ellemae Kennedy, Athena, Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews.
