Funeral services for Bunnie Gaylyn Shelton, 68, Snyder, will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Snyder Assembly of God with Rev. Anthony Shelton, Wilmore, Kentucky, officiating. Mrs. Shelton died Saturday at her home. Burial will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery, Mountain Park, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder. Bunnie was born July 10, 1943 in Snyder to Earl Henry "Bunn" and Zona Mozell (Seigreid) Riggs. She attended Snyder schools. She married Jerry Shelton on June 2, 1962 in Hobart, Oklahoma. They spent most of their married life in Humble, Texas where she was employed for 24 years by the Humble Independent School District. She started her employment as a custodian and retired as an executive assistant. When her health began failing, they moved to Snyder to be close to relatives. Survivors include her husband of the home, Jerry Shelton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Sandra Shelton, Mexia, Texas, Rev. Anthony Shelton, Wilmore, Kentucky, and Scotty and Michelle Shelton, Humble, Texas; five grandchildren, Stephen Shelton, Rachel and husband James Hunt, Hillary Shelton, Christina and husband Carlos Gomez, and Taylor Shelton; four siblings and their spouses, Jerry Max and Afton Riggs, Sandy, Utah, Frank and Judy Riggs, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, David and Sharon Riggs, Oklahoma City, Karrie and J.D. Ward, Piedmont, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl H. "Bunn" and Zona Mozell Riggs, and a brother, Paul James Riggs.
