It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Buddy Jaye Kitchens, age 73, of Mountain Park, Oklahoma. Buddy left this world on July 10, 2026, at his home with his loving wife of 52 years, Pat, by his side.

Buddy Jaye Kitchens was born January 27, 1953, in Hobart, Oklahoma to J.B. Kitchens and Erma (Estoll) Kitchens. Buddy spent his childhood amongst eight siblings in California.

In 1973 Buddy married the love of his life, Pat. They began their union at the "old" ages of twenty and sixteen. Together they had two daughters, Melissa and Mandi.

Buddy worked more than 20 years in California's agricultural industry before moving to Oklahoma in 1993; and working for Maahs Brothers. He then finished his career at T&G Construction in Lawton, Oklahoma; as a heavy machine operator.

Buddy was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished Papa, adored brother and friend to many. He loved his time with Pat as they traveled yard sales, enjoyed camping & fishing, or riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles. They both have found great joy in their daughters and sons-in-law. Their passion for their grandbabies was ever apparent in the extra love they received.

Big Bud will be missed beyond words.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Pat; two daughters, Melissa Suiter and husband Ron, Mandi Beede and husband Jason; nine grandchildren, Cheyenne Smith, Ryder Jack, Emmy Jack, Payton Suiter, Jacob Suiter, Riley Suiter, Drake Beede, Grayson Beede, Ezra Beede; great grandson, Bryer Jack; two sisters, Kathy Kitchens, Elaine Vierra and husband Arnie; three brothers, Royce Kitchens and wife Jerri Lynn, Bruce Kitchens and wife Sally, Joe Kitchens and wife Sue; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Kitchens; two sisters, Glenda Wilkinson, and Joy Beth Lujan; and son-in-law, Mark Delane Smith.
