Memorial service for Brenda V. Burns will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 22, 2025 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Her final ride to Frederick will be in a motorcycle towed hearse provided by, "Til We Ride Again".

Brenda V. Burns, 77, of Frederick, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her home in Frederick.

Brenda was born August 22, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona to Travis McCoy, Sr. and Martha (Brown) Byrd. Brenda grew up in Lawton and attended schools there. She passionately loved her grandchildren, float trips to Missouri and camping and fishing trips.

Brenda is survived by her two sons, Don Atkinson and his wife Kelli of Oklahoma City, Travis McCoy of the home in Frederick, daughter-in-law, Jamie Atkinson, four grandchildren, Tanner Atkinson, Kody Atkinson, Skyler Atkinson, Brianna Atkinson, one great grandchild, Travis Atkinson, step son, Michael Burns and wife Wende of Beggs, Oklahoma, two brothers, Jimbo McCoy and wife Karen of Lawton, Oklahoma and Berry Byrd of Lawton, Oklahoma, and other family members.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delbert Ray Burns and the father of her two sons, Donald Eugene Atkinson, one son, Jimboe Atkinson, one grandchild, Amber McCoy, two sisters, Sharon Chorn, and Patricia Strause.
