Funeral Services for Brandon Ray Roper, 42, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Brother Gary Neighbors officiating.
Burial will follow in Sterling Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Brandon Ray Roper was born on April 26, 1983, to Dennis and Kimberly (Biles) Roper in Norman, Oklahoma. He was raised in Altus, Oklahoma and graduated from Altus High School in 2002. He worked in the parts department for Wilmes Superstore Dealership in Altus for ten years before his retirement at age 30.
Brandon was deeply passionate about OU Football and loved classic cars, especially his treasured Red 1972 Chevy Hotrod Pickup, which earned several awards at car shows. Following his retirement, he dedicated himself as a ranch hand on his family's farm, tending to cattle, horses, and chickens.
He exemplified selflessness and had a heart for service, living out the Lord's teaching: "by this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Brandon was warm and affectionate, always ready for a hug and known for his kindness and personable nature. His compassion and strong work ethic shone through as he cared for his mother during her illness.
Brandon will be missed by all those who were blessed to know him.
He was predeceased by his mother, Kimberly Sue Roper, and brother, Andrew Roper.
He is survived by his father, Dennis Roper, Jr.; his sister, Kristen Roper; uncles, aunts and many cousins.
