After many years of racing, Bobby Wainscott finished his race on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Duncan, OK, winning his fight against cancer.

A graveside service for Bobby Wainscott, 82, Lawton, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home, Lawton.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born February 11, 1940 in Lawton to Leroy and Alice Wainscott . He married Donna L. Scammahorn on May 12, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Wainscott, of Duncan; a daughter, Stacy Wainscott McGough and her husband James, of Duncan; three grandchildren, Sarah McGough Becker and her husband Troy of Shawnee; Emily McGough of Oklahoma City; Sam McGough of Duncan.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Wainscott, wife Donna L. Wainscott and son Mickey W. Lesch.
