Graveside service for Bobby McLaughlin will be at 2:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, OK with Gilbert Olivarez, Grand Prairie, TX officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Bobby McLaughlin, 55, Idabel, OK passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Dallas, TX.  He was born April 16, 1962 in Hollis, OK to James F. and Shirley Jo (Etter) McLaughlin. Bobby worked for Darr Equipment Company as a supervisor in heavy equipment. He was an avid fisherman and he always said he wanted a log cabin in Heaven with a stream running by it. He was very active in his church and loved to read and study the Bible. He taught the youth Sunday school class and also was active in a church centered organization called House on Straight Streets to help those with addictions and other problems. Bobby was loved by all and he had a laugh that was contagious.

Survivors include his two children, daughter, Christie McLaughlin and son, Matthew McLaughlin both of Irving, TX, three sisters, LeAnn Kriz and husband Carl of Irving, TX, Rhonda Huffman of Idabel, OK, Beckey Watkins and husband Jerry of Lawton, OK, three brothers Jimmy McLaughlin of Idabel, OK, Larry Slinkard of Mena, AR and Billy Radford of Lawton, five aunts, Margie Etter, Lucille Galloway, Mildred Bartlett, Madeline Harrell, Terry Etter, and uncle, Floyd Etter and wife Pat along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, along with many aunts, uncles and other family members.
