Age 79, East of Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethel United Methodist Church, East of Lawton with Rev. Nathan Mills, Pastor and Doug Franklin officiating. Mrs. Klein died Friday at a local hospital. Burial will be at Letitia Cemetery, East of Lawton under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born June 11, 1930 near Hulen, Oklahoma to W.A. "Shorty" and Ona (Bull) Franklin. She grew up and lived in the Hulen community. She graduated from Walters High School with the class of 1948. She started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an Operator in 1949. She retired in June of 1979 as a Switching Technician. She was a faithful supporter of the Central High FFA and athletics. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. She married George F. Klein in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 28, 1948. He died February 15, 1992. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Carl Miller; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Klein all East of Lawton; three grandsons, David Miller, Randy Miller and Bobby Klein; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter; a great great grandson; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lois and Joe Langford, Dean and John Marlett, Wanda and Jerry Crouch and Gwalda Palange; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Jo Franklin and Doug and Carolyn Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
