Funeral service for Bobbie J. Scruggs will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Kriss officiating.

Burial will follow in the Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton, under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home, Lawton.

The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, November 24, 2017 at the funeral home.

Bobbie J. Scruggs, age 88, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born July 14, 1929 in Cyril, Oklahoma, to Harley D. and Tommie Viola (Hollis) Moser.  She married Jesse Marvin Scruggs on November 14, 1954 in Cyril.  He preceded her in death on January 25, 2006.

Mrs. Scruggs, worked for Sears, Kress stores, and for the City of Lawton water department. She worked for twenty plus years for Lawton Public Schools as a cook before retiring. Mrs. Scruggs enjoyed sewing, gardening, tending to flowers, watching hummingbirds, and especially spending time with her family. She also enjoyed "Sunday afternoon drives" every day.

She is survived by her two children, Tommie Scruggs of Lawton, OK, Jesse Scruggs and his wife Sharon, Lawton, OK ; seven grandchildren, Krystal, Dustin, Misty, Candice, Bethany, Sheree, and Brandy; 9 great grandchildren, T.J., Macayle, Jordan, Christopher, Jesse, Madison, Makaila, Xanin, and Harlee. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Her parents, husband, brother Ronald D. Moser, infant brother Baby Boy Moser, sister Billie Lou Brock, and other nieces and nephews preceded her in death.
